Sirona Care & Health is currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Band 3 - Community Healthcare Assistant to join our team on a temporary basis. This role will be based at our location on the Ground Floor of Kingswood Civic Centre in Bristol.
As a Community Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our community healthcare team in delivering high-quality care to our service users. Your responsibilities will include assisting with personal care, administering medication, and providing practical and emotional support to individuals in their own homes.
This temporary position will begin on the 13th of May 2024 and will end on the same day. The shift will start at 12:00 PM and end at 8:00 PM, with a payment rate of £83.36 per shift.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Assisting service users with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, and toileting
- Administering medication in accordance with care plans and medication protocols
- Providing practical support, such as preparing meals and assisting with household chores
- Offering emotional support and companionship to service users
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of service users at all times
To be successful in this role, you must have a caring and compassionate nature, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build rapport with service users and their families. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is desirable, but full training will be provided to the right candidate.
